Today we launched a new, easy-to-use platform for nonprofits to accept donations on the GuideStar Exchange (a.k.a nonprofits’ public report pages). Visitors to GuideStar.org can now donate to a specific organization without leaving the page.

Our partner, KIMBIA, helped us to provide this seamless giving solution on the report pages of every 501(c)(3) public charity in GuideStar’s database. The implementation of this new feature is due to the success of KIMBIA’s platform integration with our DonorEdge Learning Community members this recent summer. Organizations like The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee are using KIMBIA on their DonorEdge site, which has raised more than a million dollars in donations.

Our long-time partner, Network for Good, will continue to power the backend process of donations while KIMBIA will power the front-end interface.

This is our first step in giving donors and nonprofits an enhanced and simplified donation experience. In the spirit of the giving season, I invite you to search the GuideStar database for your favorite charity and use this new donation feature.
