Want to Win $5,000 for Your Organization?

Guess what? GuideStar and KIMBIA have teamed up again this giving season for another contest! If your organization is a 501(c)(3) public charity or private operating foundation then it could be eligible to win $5000 in the GuideStar-KIMBIA 2011 Giving Contest. The contest runs from November 1 to December 31. Here’s how to participate:

1. Be a GuideStar Exchange Seal holder by November 15, 2011

2. Register for the contest

3. Get the most number of donations through your GuideStar profile between November 1 and December 31, 2011.*

Why is being a GuideStar Exchange Seal holder important?

Every day, thousands of people come to GuideStar to learn more about nonprofits and many are donors and grantmakers seeking the full story about your organization. The GuideStar Exchange is a program designed to connect nonprofits with current and potential supporters.

GuideStar Exchange Seal

The GuideStar Exchange Seal appears on the profiles of nonprofits that have updated their information to the fullest. These nonprofits have made a commitment to transparency by taking the time to claim their nonprofit profiles and update all Seal level fields.

Update your nonprofit profile by November 15, 2011 to be eligible for the contest.

Register for the Contest

It’s as simple as that! Register your 501(c)(3) public charity or private operating foundation to participate in the contest.

Get the Most Number of Donations

Let’s be clear. The most number of donations. Not the most money. And the donations must be through the KIMBIA donation form on your organization’s GuideStar profile. Donors must click on the yellow donation button on your profile and use the form to donate to your organization. Only these donations will be counted towards the contest.

Who’s KIMBIA?
