In our fifth most popular post, What Does Giving Mean To You?, Cody Cassady, a member of GuideStar's marketing team, announced the winners of our video contest, where we asked you to share what the 2012 giving season meant to you. Congratulations again to our winners!

Our fourth most popular post comes from Diana Hand, also with GuideStar's marketing team, who shared an infographic explaining how gender, program, and location affect nonprofit CEO salaries. The infographic displayed median CEO compensation differences by gender based on findings from GuideStar's 2012 Nonprofit Compensation Report.

As always, fundraising was a popular topic among our readers. Sally Boucher, CFRE, director of research at WealthEngine, wrote our third most popular post, in which she gave fundraising advice in her post and stressed the importance of access training, a development plan, and a professional plan.

Readers also found helpful fundraising tips in Fundraising Authority founder Joe Garecht's piece in which he explained what crowd-funding sites are, what they are not, and the best sites that can work for you nonprofit--our second most popular post.

Our most popular blog post in 2013 is from Paul Jolly, founder of Jump Start Growth, Inc., who wrote about the benefits of a humble giving circle and provided five steps to to launch a robust giving circle, including tips for those looking to launch a circle for the first time.
